GIS-Al Khail recruits teachers in several ways including direct application to the school (see information below), via the GEMS Education Careers page and through international teacher recruitment agencies and organizations including Search Associates and the Council of International Schools (CIS). GIS-Dubai will be attending the following international recruiting fairs:

- Letter of application detailing why you are interested in our school
- CV (must include reference contact details for the most recent supervisor)
- Teachers must be credentialed/certified with a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience (preference for those with prior IB experience)
- All applications to include two references with complete contact details of the referee
- Recent photograph
