Kim Conlin

My name is Kimberley(Kim) Conlin and I am thrilled to lead the Primary School at GIS together with a team of talented and passionate educators.
I have been teaching/leading in primary and early childhood education for twenty-one years, both in the public and private sectors. I was born and raised in Canada, although my teaching career and educational studies have been divided between Canada, Australia, the UK and Japan. Over half of this time has been spent working within the IB Primary Years Program as an educational framework. I moved to Dubai with my two children, both IB students that have competed the PYP program, and my husband who is a passionate PYP teacher.
My commitment is to collaborate with parents and faculty to provide an incredible learning environment and opportunities for our students at GIS. I understand that every child learns when they are healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged on a daily basis. Together, we also share the responsibility for the long term development and success of each child.
