Barry McHugh

Before joining GIS Mr. Barry was a teacher for 4 years in a diverse inner city London school. He was able to transfer the skills learnt from here into the GIS community over the last 4 years. At GIS, he has experience as a Homeroom Teacher at different grade levels, as well as experience as a PYP PHE Teacher. Mr. Barry is passionate about all things sport, health and fitness and believes that every child should be exposed to a wide range of health and fitness opportunities. He believes that with an increased knowledge of health and well-being students can take ownership of their overall health. Mr. Barry hopes to promote a focus on overall health within the entire GIS community.
