Charitable Champions
The GIS PYP Student Council headed to the Al Jalila Foundation offices with Ms Janice, to proudly represent our school, as GEMS International School had its name engraved on the Al Jalila topaz coloured wall. GIS received the honour of becoming a key donor, thanks to funds raised (more than 17K) from Pinktober (GISPA led) and the PYP Costume Parade (Student Council led).
We are delighted that once again our students and community have reflected the school’s values so well.

Top Schools awards 2023-2024
We are delighted to announce that our school has been shortlisted for the Top Schools Award for Best International Baccalaureate School in the United Arab Emirates 2023-2024.

STREAM Competition 2023
A GIS team participated in the 22/23 STREAM competition. The goal of the competition was to build an Amusement Park style, Rube Goldberg machine, using sustainable materials.

Interdisciplinary Unit 2023
MYP students participated in their Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU). This is a compulsory component of MYP schools as it enhances the interdisciplinary links between subjects.
