Going for Gold!
We are thrilled that Tariebi (Grade 9), won two gold medals (100m and High Jump) and one silver (200m) at a recent Ultimate Athletics Race Night. Tariebi Odubo is just fourteen years old and ran the 100m in a time of 11.76 seconds! He jumped 1.6 metres and ran the 200m in 24.9 seconds. Ultimate Athletics director, Lisa Campbell described Tariebi as a ‘very talented sprinter with great vertical power for jumping’.
Tariebi has a bright athletic future ahead of him and we congratulate him on this major feat.
