Interdisciplinary Unit 2023
MYP students participated in their Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU). This is a compulsory component of MYP schools as it enhances the interdisciplinary links between subjects. It also gives students a chance to participate and express themselves in ways that they may not typically get a chance to do.
In light of this, the Secondary building was a hive of activity all week. Grade 6 students blended Arts and Arabic; Grade 7 students worked with Design and English; Science & PHE were united in Grade 8; while Grade 9 combined French/Spanish and Humanities; and finally, Grade 10 students linked Mathematics and Islamic Studies.
